PURPOSE:To enable to simplify the constitution of the feeder by a method wherein two means for loading copying medium are in parallel to each other and the respective sheet feeding paths starting from the two means are provided in the opposite directions to each other and means for feeding copying medium provided between said two means is so designed as to draw near to either one of the two means in order to function the feeding operation. CONSTITUTION:In order to take copies on the back pages of sheets of paper after the copying their front pages is completed, sheets of paper are firstly sent to an intermediate tray 5 without being turned over. Secondly, after a draft copy is exchanged, a sheet feed roller arm 7 is drawn near to the tray 5 by the actuation of a start print button and, when the clutch of a sheet feed roller 2 comes into operation, the roller 2 rotates toward the direction as indicated with the arrow A in order to feed sheets of copying paper temporarily loaded and stocked in the intermediate tray 5 from the notched part 7 provided at the lower part of the refeeding cassette one by one sheet in succession to the refeeding path 6. In this time, a contact pressure applicator 8 applies adequate contact pressure to the sheets of paper in the tray 5. In such a manner as mentioned above, the copying on back pages similarly as on front pages is performed to the sheets of copying paper. |
