In front ploughs with a plough link and with a plough frame which is connected via a joint to the latter or to a slotted guide connected to the plough link and which is arranged offset laterally relative to the plough link, and is provided with a hydraulic cylinder for pivoting the plough frame relative to the link and with a supporting wheel running in the preliminary furrow, close attention is necessary during ploughing, especially since the risk of oversteered front wheels occurs here. In order to design this plough in such a way that it can be driven with the same amount of attention as rear ploughs and, moreover, even small steering corrections bring about a variation in the working width of the first plough body, in the working position the plough frame is pivotable about an imaginary or real axis which forms the pulling or pushing point and which lies at a distance in front of the plough link and laterally of the plough bodies or on or in the vicinity of the resulting pulling-force line which is obtained in the abovementioned arrangement of the imaginary or real axis of rotation. The rear end of the plough frame pivotable about the real or imaginary axis is limited in lateral movability by a bearing contact of the last plough body and/or by a stop arranged directly or indirectly on the link. <IMAGE>
