The chain construction has several links (1) and drive wheels (10). Each link is furnished with a notch (2) whose position depends on the chain's direction of rotation about the drive wheel, since the notches engage with pins (13) on the wheel. The notches are positioned eccentrically towards the rear of each link, whilst the pins are placed between two concentric parallel plates, the distance between them corresp. to the chain's width. The construction is intended esp. for transport use. |
