PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in picture information due to a noise during the triggering of flash emission by starting to store picture information after the flash emission is triggered for flash image pickup. CONSTITUTION:When an image pickup start switch is turned on at time t1, a trigger pulse is generated at a trigger terminal TR. While a terminal ICG has a high level, photoelectric conversion and storage parts SA1-SAn are cleared through clear gates FA1-FAn, but when the terminal ICG is inverted to a low level at time t2, the storage of picture information is started and the dimming circuit of a flash device starts operation. Thus, the flash device is triggered when image-pickup elements are cleared, thereby eliminating an influence of a noise during the triggering. |
