PURPOSE:To perform a reliable measurement of a plate thickness at a position P and a measurement of even a plate thickness at a center, by mounting a first plate thickness measuring device, which measures a plate thickness at a position P, and a second plate thickness measuring device, which measures a thickness of a center part of a lamellar sheet, to an attachment moving frame. CONSTITUTION:An attachement moving frame 4 is positioned so that it can freely move forward and backward in a direction of width of a lamellar sheet 1 by a following drive means 7. A first plate thickness measuring device 10A is located at a set position P which lies toward the inside by a slight distance from the edge of the lamellar sheet, and a second plate thickness measuring device 10B is situated at a center part M of the lamellar sheet 1. Through forward and backward movement of the frame 4 based on a lamellar sheet edge signal from a lamellar sheet edge detector 8, the positions of the measuring devices 10A and 10B are caused to freely follow on a basis of a position P. This permits the reliable detection of a plate thickness at the set position P, and as a result, a yielding can be improved. |
