PURPOSE:To prevent useless line service, through the short-circuit of response to users at the restoration of line, by providing a means detecting the restoration of line for a center having an audio response device, in on-line data cmmunication using a public communication lines. CONSTITUTION:The information from users is detected at a receiver 23 at the center via a network controller 25 connected to a public communication line 26 and an interface 24 and transmitted to a computer 21. The output information from the computer 21 is transmitted from a voice generator 22 as voice. When the user hangs up the receiver on the way of transmission of information, the line of users of an exchange network is restored and a busy tone from the exchanger is transmitted to a line 26 of the center. The busy tone is inputted to a receiver 23 via a network controller 24 for discrimination, and transmitted to the computer 21 as the user's line restoration information. Then the computer 21 confirms the restoration of the user and gives a line disconnecting instruction to the network controller 24 to restore the lines. |
