PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of a reproduced picture image, by constituting an optical detecting package of one body, and making light incident from the other surface of a led-out fiber bundle, in an infrared image pickup device whose picture element part is constituted of a Schottky barrier. CONSTITUTION:The end part of a fiber bundle 40 is inserted into a entire opening part of a ceramic supporting member 12a having an opening part of size (d), of which a one body-like optical detecting package is constituted, and the fiber bundle 40 passes through a cover member 29 of a Dewar vessel and is led out to the outside of the Dewar vessel. The incident picture image is constituted so as to be projected through a lens 17 from an end part 40b of the fiber bundle. Since any part of an image pickup element 20 is cooled uniformly, deterioration of a reproduced picture image is not caused accordingly. |
