PURPOSE:To facilitate formation of blank for giving a binding margin to a sheet, by shifting the position of a lens for forming an original image on an image forming sheet from a line joining the center of the original and that of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:When the image 22 of an original 20 is copied on the entire surface of a transfer paper, as shown in the figure (b) the center of the original 20 and the point of a photoreceptor corresponding to the center of the paper are joined with a line, and a lens is positioned on this line and a point adjusted in light path ratio equal to an original size/paper size ratio. When it is necessary to form a binding margin, as shown in the figure (a), said size ratio a little higher than the above case is selected to reduce the copy a little in size, and the image 22 is a little shifted from said line. To execute this, the lens is shifted in the image shifting direction by the corresponding value. |
