PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure a sampling time, and also to prevent a peripheral circuit from becoming complicated, by executing color separation in an output terminal part of a horizontal register of an area sensor, and outputting a color signal independently. CONSTITUTION:3 kinds of color signals which have been transferred in a horizontal shift register are separated into 2 kinds of G and R signals, and B signal by a color separation and transfer electrode 6. Also, signals GR, GB are color separation gate electrodes of the R signal and the B signal, and each of them is provided with an output part independently. Also, a reset gate electrode for resetting a floating junction area shown by an oblique line in the figure is supplied independently as each RSG, RSR and RSB. In an outputting circuit following this area, a sampling pulse is independent as electrodes SPG, SPR and SPB at every color signal, and is supplied with sufficient time. |
