PURPOSE:To provide a collator for sequentially storing and storing paper discharged from a paper discharge portion of a copier which can reduce the driving source for the collator to a compact size and a low cost by providing a fixing member having transport means interlocking with the above paper discharge portion. CONSTITUTION:A collator 15 is adapted to store paper P which has been transferred by a transfer apparatus 12 of a copier 1. The collator 15 comprises a fixing member 19 fitted to a main body 2 by a screw 21 and a storing member 20 pivotally supported on one side of the fixing member by hinges 29a, 29b. The fixing member 19 has an inlet 22 for paper P discharged from a paper discharge portion having a paper discharge roll 28, and U-shaped support members 23a, 23b vertically secured in such a manner as to clamp the inelt 22. Shafts 24a, 24b interlocked with these support members 23a, 23b through paper discharge means and gears 27, 26 are provided with transport rolls 25a, 25b. A storing member 20 includes a bin portion 16 comprising a plurality of bins. |
