Plastics bottle packaging

Packaging unit for the transport of filled, closed plastics beverage bottles of circular section is pref. of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride sheet and assembles a multiple of at least seven bottles, pref. at most 19 bottles. The sheet lies around the outermost bottles, in direct contact with the walls. Seven bottles are arranged in a regular hexagon with one in the middle. The foil is 0.01 - 0.1 mm. thick and encloses at least the max. dia. bottle section and part of their necks.
