PURPOSE:To suppress time axis fluctuation at jumping and to obtain a stable picture, by compulsively generating a signal corresponding to a selecting instruction signal at the jumping operation of a recording track for information detecting point of a pickup. CONSTITUTION:In the still picture reproduction and the double speed reproduction, the end of a white flag signal in a reproducing video signal is detected at a detector 18 a positive or negative jump driving signal C is generated from a jump pulse generator 19 in response to forward/reverse jump. This jump driving signal is applied to a tracking mirror driving mechanism to bias the information detection point of a pickup. When the information detection point comes to the center of tracks, that is, when the driving pulse C is missing, an MMV 26 is triggered and a gate output D is compulsively generated. This is assumed as a pseudo selecting instruction signal for a switch 4. |
