The invention relates to moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane systems with a long shelf life which contain A) a polyurethane prepolymer having an NCO content of from 1 to 5% by weight, B) a dialdimine of the formula R &lparstr& N=CH-C(CH3)2-CH2-O-CO-CH2-CH-(CH3)2 in which R is an alkylene radical having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkylene radical having 4 to 10 carbon atoms and containing oxygen and/or N-alkyl group as bridging member, a cycloalkylene radical having 6 to 15 carbon atoms or an arylene radical having 6 to 21 carbon atoms, and C) an aromatic and/or aliphatic carboxylic acid or toluene sulphonic acid. The polyurethane systems are used as coating compositions, sealants, encapsulating (embedding) compounds, knifing fillers (stoppers, surfaces) and adhesives.
