The invention relates to a device for preparing printing plates provided with register holes and mounting foils in web-fed offset printing for multiple production, consisting of a setting-up table (1) with a flat support surface for supporting the printing plate (5), having first, mutually flush lateral stop pins (3) whose mutual central spacing corresponds to the roller circumference of the printing roller, reduced by the width of the clamping gap, and having at least two register pins (2) which fit in the register holes of the printing plate, the continuation of the contact surface of the register pins (2) enclosing a right angle with the connecting line of the contact faces of the lateral stop pins (3), and having second lateral stop pins (13) which are arranged flush with the first lateral stop pins in the same relation to the register pins (2), and having at least two mutually opposite punching tools (8, 8a) ahead of the first stop pins (3) for punching positioning openings (9) in the region of the print-free top edges of the printing plate (5) or mounting foil. <IMAGE>
