PURPOSE:To properly cause the subject heater to correspond to the room temperature change to improve the operating efficiency by providing a shielding plate, side panels and the like and to prevent a room temperature sensor part from being affected by a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:On both sides where no hot air blow-off port 5 of the main body 1 is provided, a shielding plate 12 is provided and side panels 2 and 3 are provided outside the shielding plate 12, and upper and lower slits 9 and 10 are formed on said side panels to make the flow of air possible. Between the shielding plate 12 and the side panel 2, a main body 11 of a thermostat and its sensible part 13 are arranged, and an air rectifying rib 15 is arranged at a position where air is focused to the sensor part 13 from the lower slit 10. By this arrangement, the influence of the heat exchanger is evaded by the shielding plate 12. On the other hand, indoor air is caused to counterflow to the sensor part 13 of the thermostat 11, and hence can be caused to properly correspond to the change of the indoor temperature. |
