This electronic device (fig. 1) is provided with an operation unit which receives user operations, an auxiliary input means which, used when a user inputs information to the operation unit, can change the user's sensual perception, and a control unit which, in response to operations performed by the user using the auxiliary input means, guides user operations to prescribed operations by changing the user's sensory perception caused by the auxiliary input means.
