PURPOSE:To maintain high luminance without generating temperature extinction inspite of making big electric power on a fluorescent screen to obtain high luminance by a method wherein a part of an anode linearly applied by a phosphor substance is taken out outside of a vacuum container concerning a high luminance linear fluorescent light source tube by means of cathode luminescence used for an ordinary paper copy machine. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor substance 9 sis linearly applied on an anode 8 and a part of the anode 8 is pulled out of a vacuum container as a part for radiation. When 3-5 times as much as ordinary electric energy is made on a fluorescent screen to obtain high luminance, the reactive power not doing for luminance appears as heat and said heat is radiated outside of a tube from a part of the teeth of a comb 8b for radiation. Accordingly the fluorescent screen is always maintained at fixed temperature to keep high luminance with no temperature extinction. |
