The invention involves in short a ground conducting device included in a lightning protector for boats. The ground conductor device is composed of basically a metal cloth (12) of at least a half square meter in size, which gives a contact area of at least 1m<2>. At the one side of the cloth (12) is an electric conductor (10) from that part of the lightning protector, which is above deck, fastened by soldering or welding and at the opposite side of the cloth (12) a preferably helpful floatable core (11) is fastened. When the ground conducting device is not in use the cloth (12) and the electrical conductor (10) are at least partially winded around the core (11) and enclosed in a fender (1) or similar protective covering.<IMAGE> |
