PURPOSE:To make a titled device miniaturized and light weight and to inspect the tensile strength at a prescribed position, by providing one holding part slidably on the other holding part at both ends of a melt-stuck part and fitting a force transferring part which gives a predetermined tensile strength to the melt- stuck part between them. CONSTITUTION:A part holding an optical fiber 1 and a part on which a holding part 5 is placed and slided are provided on a holding part 4. A spring 11 is fitted to the outer periphery of a connecting rod 10, the one end of which is fixed to the holding part 4, and the holding part 5 is pressed to a nut 9 through a slip ring 8 with the spring. A spring 11 is set at the position where a force pressing the part 5 acts as the predetermined tensile strength of inspection by turning the nut 9. Then, an optical fiber 1 at both sides of a melt-stuck part 3 is fixed on the holding parts 4, 5. When the nut is loosed, the melt-stuck part 3 is pulled from both sides with the predetermined strength. At this time, if the part 3 is not deformed, it passes the inspection and if the part 3 is deformed and brocken, it does not pass. In this way, a strength inspection is performed. |
