PURPOSE:To treat the inside surface of centrifugal casting dies satisfactorily in follow- up to the change in the shape of said surface by providing an upward and downward moving flask in one end part of the dies by facing said part, and disposing spray nozzles for mold coating materials and brushing means to a pair of advancing and retreating flasks provided to the upward and downward moving flask. CONSTITUTION:A moving flask 2 is moved with respect to one end part 1 of centrifugal casting dies (m) to adjust the height of an upward and downward moving flask 4. A lower advancing and retreating flask 7b mounted to the flask 4 is advanced and a brushing device 12 supported to the flask 7b is driven. The device 12 is held turned and energized downward by its own weight and brushes the inside surface in one end part 1 of the dies while contacting said surface under pressure. Thereafter, an upper advancing and retreating flask 7a is advanced and immediately after the completion of the brushing, mold coating materials are sprayed from spray nozzles 10 disposed to the flask 7a while the flask 7a is retreated, whereby the inside surface of the part 1 is coated. By the above-mentioned device, the treatment of the inside surfaces in accordance with the diameters of the dies is made possible. |
