PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure-fixable good developing toner, by adding a resin obtained by copolymerizing a styrene type monomer, and/or an acrylic monomer, and a maleic acid type monomer, and a wax having a functional group, and a low mol.wt. polyethylene. CONSTITUTION:As long as a wax has >=10c,<=10,000 number average mol.wt., and a proper functional group, it is satisfactorily usable. An amount of wax used per that of syrene and/or acrylic monomer depends on the presence of other monomer, but it is not preferable that said ratio exceeds 2 times, because the properties, such as agglomeration tendency or poor fluidity, become prominent. An amount of maleic acid type monomer in the mixture of the wax and the monomers does not exceed the weight of waxes. |
