PURPOSE:To attain a high-speed and efficient communication without redundancy different from the case with fixed recording length by providing a ring buffer on the firmware side, thereby making the difference in processing speeds between respective processors cause no problem, and providing such a variable recording length as to manage the data of mutual communication with an argument. CONSTITUTION:For a command issued by a host CPU 6 against a firmware CPU 2, a host command buffer (Write) 14 and a firm command buffer (Read) 10 are used which are shown in the figure. The kind of the command is informed by an index A. The number of words of a data B is informed by the argument part of the A. The B is the data delivered to the firmware CPU 2. Receiving a command from the host CPU 6, the firmware CPU 2 pushes the command to a ring buffer 24, from where the command is made hop. And the CPU 2 fetches only the share of the data instructed by the argument part of the command. |
