PURPOSE:To obtain an alarm clock that acts effectively for wakening the sleeping person by sounding alarm of which the sound pressure level becomes larger by steps and generating the relarming after snooze from the sound pressure level just before snooze. CONSTITUTION:An alarm sound generating circuit 5 is selected by D type FF1 and FF2 through the output of a NAND gate N. Next, by the output of a counter 10 after a specified time has elapsed, the output of FF1 is reversed and an alarm sound generating circuit 6 is selected and further an alarm sound generating circuit 7 is selected to make gradually larger the sound pressure level of the alarm sound. If a snooze switch 15 is being generated by the circuit 5 or 6, an alarm switch is turned off and at the same time the counter 10 is reset. After a specified time has elapsed, the switch 8 becomes ON, and FF1 and FF2 return to the position just before the switch 15 is operated, generating alarm sound at the sound pressure level just before the operation of the snooze operation. With this arrangement the alarm clock becomes a clock with effective work of wakening on the sleeping person. |
