PURPOSE:To measure fluctuting running resistance more accurately, by performing vehicle speed control and intake pressure control based on a driving pattern obtained by an actually running vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The deviation between the command intake pressure B(t) issued by a command generator 1 and the intake pressure of an object vehicle detected by an intake pressure detector 9 is detected by a deviation device 2. Then the deviation is added 4 to a command throttle opening degree theta(t). A deviation device 5 detects the deviation between the output of an adder 4 and the throttle opening degree of the object vehicle 14. Said deviation value is imparted to an operating device 7 and an accelerating pedal of the vehicle 14 is operated. A command speed V(t) is imparted to a deviation device 10, and the deviation between V(t) and the vehicle speed of the vehicle 14 is computed. Said deviation is amplified 11 and 12 and supplied to the coils of a dynamo meter 18. Torque T(t) of the dynamo meter 18 is detected by a torque detector 19. the detected value is converted into the running resistance R(t) by an operator 20, and stored in a memory device 21 as a function of a time in correspondence with the speed V(t). |
