PURPOSE:To increase the range of selection for the oscillating fequency of a reference signal, by setting a reference signal producing means at the input side of a recording system. CONSTITUTION:A digital recorder/reproducer is provided with a means 18 that is set at the input side of a recording system and stores the data which is sampled and encoded 16 with a prescribed sampling interval at least a cycle of the signal that can give a level equivalent to the maximum level of the signal delivered from a reproducing system; a means 46 that reads the data of the means 18 for each system and alternately in accordance with a prescribed cycle; and a means 19 that detects that the signal read out by the means 46 is equal to the final data to be stored in the means 18 and then reads gain the head data and its subsequent ones. Then the reference signals having equivalent maximum levels are delivered to the output terminal of each system of the reproducing system. |
