Electronic control for watering systems

The invention is intended to permit gardens and green areas to be watered fully automatically as a function of the weather conditions. Since a water source with adequate water flow rate per time unit, for example a domestic mains with a small cross-section of the pipes, is not always available for relatively large areas, this system ensures that in each case only one watering unit is fed with the entire amount of water and thus receives the full pressure. After a preselectable time, watering unit No. 1 switches off while at the same time No. 2 takes up the watering. Up to 10 watering units of completely varying designs can thus water areas with very different outlines. By appropriately positioning the switches of the electronic system, it is also possible to water subareas only. The working points of the sensors for sun activity and precipitation can be set by the operator so that strong sunshine does not lead to ineffective watering. <IMAGE>
