PURPOSE:To provide a developing ink for flexographic or gravure printing improved in the color developing property and resistance to light, yellowing and plasticizer which contains a specified developer, a shellac or ketone resin as binder and an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A developer (A) of the formula (wherein R represents H, halogen, C1-12 alkyl, C7-11 aralkyl, phenyl or the like and M is a multivalent metal), an organic solvent B (preferably, ethanol) and a shellac or ketone resin as binder (B) are mixed and dissolved in a ratio of e.g., 20-60pts.wt. A: 100pts.wt. B: 20-5pts.wt. C and a pigment (e.g., kaolin or bentonite) is dispersed in the mixed solution in an amount of e.g., 60-35pts.wt. to obtain an intended developing ink. |
