PURPOSE:To compactly form a solar battery blanket by mounting a solar battery unit in which a plurality of solar batteries are coupled in a parallelogram having 78 to 87 deg. of internal angle in zigzag shape on a flexible substrate and forming folds along the side edges of the parallelogram. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery unit is constructed by coupling a plurality of solar batteries 2 in a parallelogram having 78 to 87 of internal angle. The units are mounted in zigzag shape on a flexible substrate 1, and folds are formed along the side edges of the parallelogram. Further, a solar battery blanket 4 is overlaid via tension strings 5 in a lattice frame 6. As a result, the blanket can be folded in small size to carry on a shuttle, and the operation of the development of the blanket can be simple, thereby minimizing the developing device and the work out of the device. Moreover, no entanglement occurs at the developing time, thereby enhancing the reliability. |
