PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material suitable for desensitization, by providing a nonphotosensitive layer contg. more hydrophilic colloidal binder coated per unit area than the amt. of coated photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, to the outside of the silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emulsion layer is prepared by using silver halide, such as silver chloride or bromide, and a hydrophilic colloidal binder, such as gelatin, carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium alginate, or polyvinyl alcohol. This emulsion incorporated with a spectral sensitizer, a stabilizer, a hardening agent, etc. is coated on a support of polyethylene terephthalate film or the like. A nonphotosensitive layer containing a hydrophilic colloidal binder per unit area not less than that contained in the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is formed on the photosensitive layer to obtain an intended photosensitive material. |
