PURPOSE:To prevent the production of unburnt component, reduce the amount of NOx generated, and simplify the structure of an incinerator by such a construction that a second nozzle for supplying air is inserted coaxially inside a first nozzle for supplying waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A second nozzle 11 for supplying air is inserted coaxially inside a first nozzle 10 for supplying waste gas. With this construction, air enters the central part of a flame 12, and therefore, a combustion surface 13 spreads outwardly and expandedly. Thus, the flame 12 is shaped in a thick and short barrel form, which is expanded in the middle. Accordingly, the flame density and flame temperature are decreased uniformly over the flame, thereby decreasing the generation of unburnt component and NOx extremely. When this type of burner 22 is installed on the side wall 21 of the incinerator, it is preferable to arrange a waste gas supply passage 23 inside an air supply passage 24. This is because this structure can eliminate the need of provision of a number of additional pipes and thus simplify the structure of the incinerator. |
