PURPOSE:To improve the suction resistance of a vehicular window glas at high speed running by a method wherein a slider is provided at the lower front end of the vehicular sashless window glass and a window glass restrictor is arranged on the inner wall of a window glass housing panel so as to cope with the slider at the nearly fully closed position of the window glass. CONSTITUTION:During the operation of the window glass 2, when the window glass 2 is nearly fully closed, the window glass 2 starts to be restricted by abutting the slider 8 against the guide surface 10c of the restrictor 10. The restricting force of the restrictor 10 increases with the closing of the window glass 2, resulting in pushing the slider 8 to the outside direction E of the width of a vehicle. Consequently, the part above the abutting point of the window glass 2 at its lower end against stabilizers 6 and 7 is pushed to the inside direction R as indicated with the arrow B contrary to the outside direction E, resulting in deflecting the part above the abutting point of the window glass 2 against the stabilizers 6 and 7 to the outside direction E so as to realize the very tight contact and seal between a weather lip and the window glass 2. In such a manner as mentioned above, the sucking-out of the upper front corner 2a of the window glass 2 at high speed running can be prevented. |
