<p>Injection unit for an injection moulding machine with advancing devices for the non-positive application of the injection nozzle of the injection aggregate to the inlet opening of the injection mould and for the rotatably supported screw in the aggregate, to introduce the moulding material into the mould, the novel feature of the unit being that both advancing devices are combined to form a common, piston-cylinder unit, which is coaxial with the injection nozzle and contains a number of parts one within the other, the first being coupled to the machine frame, the second to the injection aggregate and the third to the injection screw, means being provided for the admission of a pressure medium acting on the various parts, in such a way that the advancing motion of the injection aggregate and the screw can be carried out independently.</p> |
