The invention relates to an optical sensor arrangement for measuring displacement or the relative speed of a moving part (1), particularly of a magnetically supported rotor. According to the invention, one light source (6, 7) is in each case arranged oppositely located, for example at the front ends of the rotor, the light rays of which are incident on the reflection surfaces (2, 3) via lenses (22, 23) and are reflected from these surfaces to sensors (8, 9). The intensity of the light incident on the sensor is different depending on the distance of the respective reflection surfaces from the associated sensor. The output signal of the sensor, which is constructed, for example, as photo transistor, represents a measure of the distance or the displacement of the reflection surface. The signals of the oppositely located sensors are combined in a differentiating element (15). <IMAGE>
