This electronic modulo-10 counter is a counter which is capable of counting up and down. It does not consist of simple flip flops which are combined with delay circuits, but of dual flip flops. In this electronic counter, a decade according to Figure 1 is required per decimal place because one decade only covers one decimal place. In this up/down counter, the flip flop input circuits consist of two OR circuits having in each case two inputs, and four AND circuits having in each case two inputs. The up decade carry or down decade carry is preactivated by a special additional circuit (17) which consists of two AND circuits (18 and 19) having in each case two inputs and an OR circuit (20) having two inputs and a further AND circuit (21) having two inputs. <IMAGE>
