<p>PURPOSE:To control cables with a single reel device, by using an optical fiber to a signal cabtyre cable for control and communication and integrally combining said signal cabtyre cable with a power cabtyre cable. CONSTITUTION:In case of sending an operational control or communication signal from the ground to a machine, an electric signal, transmitted by a signal cable 18' on the ground, is converted into an optical signal in an electric current- light converter 17'. This optical signal is combined with a power cabtyre cable 15' in a ground connection box 16 via an optical fiber cable 12'' and connected to a power cabtyre cable 8 of an optical fiber 12 then taken out to an optical fiber cable 12' from the rear of a cable reel device 5 via a cable winding reel 7, hollow shaft 7', machine connection box, etc. Then the signal is connected to a light-current converter 17 on the machine, after the optical signal is converted into an electric signal, an operational control and communication signal is transmitted from a signal cable 18.</p> |
