PURPOSE:Soybeans or ADZUKI beans are made to absorb a germanium-containing aqueous solution, then allowed to germinate in a green house under irradiation of sun beams with water fed, then the sprouts are squeezed to give the bean sprout essence containing germanium in a very short time at low costs. CONSTITUTION:Soybeans or ADZUKI beans are steeped in an aqueous solution containing 100-200ppm/cc of a germanium compound such as GeO2 to absorb the solution. The volume of the solution absorbed by beans is 2-6cc per one gram of beans. Then the germanium-containing solution is kept at 35-40 deg.C and given to the beans at a certain interval in the green house under irradiation of sun beams from the time when the solution is exhausted, thus the sprouts grow in a length of malts. Then, the green sprouts are squeezed to collect the liquid essence containing organogermanium compounds. The essence contains organogermanium compounds and chlorophyll, thus being very useful as a health food. |
