PURPOSE:To facilitate the fixing of a slit plate and to elongate the life of a light emitting element, in the optical device for detecting the position of the straight line, by flexibly fixing the slit plate and guiding it. CONSTITUTION:The slit plate 2 having the flexible part 2 is fixed to a moving body 1. The position of the straight line is detected by a light emitting element 3 and a light receiving element 4. The free end of the slit plate has freedom in the X and Y directions owing to the flexible part. Furthermore the slit plate is guided by holders 6 of the light emitting and receiving elements. Therefore, even though the parallel degree of the moving body and the holders are misaligned, the load is not applied to the moving body. Since the slit is accurately positioned, the distance between the light emitting and receiving elements can be narrowed, the current of the light emitting element is decreased, and the long life can be obtaind. |
