PURPOSE:To reduct the decrease of running distance caused by employing an automatic speed changing device by a method wherein the number of a hydraulic multiple disc clutch, necessary to develop the automatic speed change control but generating a big power loss, is decreased. CONSTITUTION:The speed change gear of present invention is provided with a first reaction element, stopping or releasing the rotation of a ring gear 12 for one set of single type planetary gear mechanism 7, which is consisting of a third braking shaft 37, fifth, sixth one-way clutches 40, 41 and a fourth engaging clutch 42, a second reaction element, stopping and releasing the ring gear 9 for the other set of the single type planetary gear mechanism 6, which is consisting of a first braking shaft 21, a first gear 22, a first engaging clutch 24 and the first, second, third one-way clutches 25, 26, 33, and the hydraulic multiple disc clutch 27, coupling the braking shafts 21, 37 for both reaction elements by operating automatically when a car speed is increased and it has arrived at a predetermined value. |
