PURPOSE:To obtain bound spun yarns without causing fluffs, neps and fibers of bad wound yarns even in a high-speed processing step, by introducing a fibrous bundle into a fluid twisting nozzle with a nozzle collector having a guide path having a straight shape and a specific dimension. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous bundle 2, e.g. a silver or roving, is drafted in drafting zone 8 and 9 and guided to a fluid twisting nozzle 12 with a nozzle collector 11 to form a bound spun yarn in an apparatus. In the apparatus, a fibrous bundle guiding path 110 of the nozzle collector 11 is made in the substantially straight shape, and a slit-like fluid suction inlet 112 sufficiently long in the width direction crossing the moving direction of the fibrous bundle 2 and narrow in the height direction of the moving direction is formed in the inlet part of the fluid twisting nozzle 12. The width of the fibrous bundle 2 before feeding to the nozzle collector 11 is a justed to the following relation: L1/l>=1.5 and L2>=10D[l is the width of the fibrous bundle 2 before feeding to the nozzle collector 11; L1 is the width of the inlet part of the fibrous bundle guiding path 110; L2 is the width of the fluid suction inlet 112; (D) is the diameter of the inlet part of the fluid twisting nozzle 12]. |
