The bricks or panels are for a brick or tiled wall. One or more base panels or slabs are provided for bridging two or more girders or supports in a building. With the base panels there are a series of retainer elements for tiles attached to the base panels at prescribed horizontal & vertical intervals. The base panel has a series of parallel ribs(4) on one side, fitted by the retainer elements(6,12). Tiles(5,11) are fixed to these, with joint gaps filled with mortar.
