PURPOSE:To make a compressor small-sized and lightweight by fitting a solenoid below a cylinder, utilizing the oil sump space at the bottom of the chamber, and making the space in the radial direction unnecessary which has been so far required to fit the solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 9A is fixed to a solenoid fitting stand fitted below a cylinder 1 with a frame 10A section so that a pin 15 slides through a pin guide hole 32 and a movable iron core 13 moves in the axial direction. By fitting the solenoid 9A below the cylinder 1, the space where the refrigerator oil 33 is stored at the bottom of a chamber 25A can be utilized, and the space in the radial direction which has been so far required to fit the solenoid 9A is made unnecessary. Therefore, the diameter and thickness of the chamber 25A can be made small, thus the compressor 27A can be made small-sized and lightweight. |
