PURPOSE:To raise the dot density of printing by avoiding the high density of dot arrangement by a method in which resistors are arranged closely in parallel and printing is performed in such a way that the dots of both resistors ae staggered and the space between the dots of a resistor is buried with the dots of the oter resistor. CONSTITUTION:Two rows of resistors 1 and 2 are arranged closely, and dots S1 and S2 partitioned by a conductor crossing the resistors 1 and 2 are selectively energized by each conductor. Conductors 3 and 4 crossing the resistors 1 and 2 are staggeringly positioned along the longitudinal direction of the resistors 1 and 2. For example, printing is first made on a recording paper by the dots A1 and S2 of the resistor 1, the recording paper is delivered by a distance d, and printing is made on the portions recorded with the dots S1 and S2 by the dot S11 of the resistor 2. Thus, printing of a dot density as much as two times greater than that of the resistor can be attained. EFFECT:The movement of the head is not needed. |
