PURPOSE:To ensure the firm and assured connection and fixture of optical fibers, by connecting and fixing the optical fiber to the main body case with the base end face of the optical fiber set opposite and close to the surface of a photoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:Sleeves 9 are attached the base end parts of the optical fibers 3a and 3b. The sleeve 9 is a cylindrical member having even thickness, and the outer diameter of the sleeve 9 can be inserted into an attaching hole 6b. While the inner diameter of the sleeves 9 is formed so that the fibers 3a and 3b can be pressed into the sleeves 9. The length of the sleeves 9 is set so that the sleeves 9 tightly touches an elastic member 8 when it is inserted into the hole 6b. Furthermore the fibers 3a and 3b are pressed into the sleeve 9 so that the end faces of the fibers 3a and 3b are flush with the end face of the sleeve 9. A nut 10 is fitted to a volt 6b, and a flange 10a turned inside is formed at an end part of the nut 10. The flange 10a hooks to a part of the thick part of the end face of the sleeve 9. |
