PURPOSE:Seeds are steeped in an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble germanium compound to effect germination to produce a germinated seed food containing germanium. CONSTITUTION:Seeds or grains of soybean, ADZUKI bean, black soybean, barley, adlay, water caltrop or buckwheat are steeped in an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble germanium compound such as germanium dioxide, dimethylgermanium oxide, bis-beta-ethylcarboxylic germanium sesquioxide and they are kept at the germination temperature to effect germination. |
