PURPOSE:To detect weir height and abnormal oscillations accurately in an always stable state without breakage of the film by floating logs, etc. by detecting the side wall position of the weir with an angle detector disposed in the floor bed part. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like rubber sheet is folded into two sheets, and the folded side edge 2 is stuck to a river bed surface 3, whereby an airtight flexible bag- like weir 1 is constituted. The height of the rubber weir is adjusted by supplying air therein. An arm 8 is fixed to a sprocket 11 which is supported by a suitable member in a pit P provided on the river bed surface and is rotatable around a revolving shaft, and a contact roller 9 is provided to the leading end thereof. The change in the angle theta of the arm is transmitted with a chain 12 to an angle detector 7. In accordance with the actually measured correlations, the height of the weir is determined from the angle theta. It is also possible to detect the abnormal oscillations of the weir. |
