<p>PURPOSE:To enhance an accuracy of thickness controlling of feed-forward sheet, by obtaining a controlling gain, which makes the deviation of measured rolled sheet thickness minimum, to correct a controlling gain in predictive controlling, and correcting on line the excess or deficiency of controlling quantity due to the change of quality of a rolling material during rolling, and a rolling mill, etc. CONSTITUTION:In the above-mentioned sheet thickness controlling, a controlling characteristics of a sheet thickness controlling system, consisting mainly of a feed-forward system, is estimated in on-line real time from actual controlling data, and the result is used directly to decide the next controlling quantity. Accordingly, even in a rolling mill where an accurate foreknowledge of the controlling characteristics is unattainable, a highly accurate sheet thickness controlling can be performed. Especially, a controlling quantity, which makes the deviation of the sheet thickness at the outlet side minimum, can be set without being affected by error factors and changing requests, both generating in an actual rolling mill, by obtaining influence factors, which makes the sheet thickness deviation at the outlet side minimum, with an application of Kalman filter.</p> |
