PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a computer system, by executing the software on the hardware, when identification codes are coincident, through the check of the coincidence of the identification codes of the offered software and the hardware. CONSTITUTION:A hardware status set circuit 14 of a CPU11 consists of a switch circuit and a register, and an identification code is set to the register. An interface circuit 13 changes over the information for a control storage 12 and an external console processor hardware 16. The microprogram on an external storage device 15 is loaded to the storage 12 via the circuit 13 with the loading section of the software. After the end of this loading, the program loaded with a console processor software 18 is started, the identification code set in the circuit 14 is read in a register information reading via the circuit 13, the coincidence between the software and the hardware is confirmed and the program is executed on the hardware. |
