<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchange of cassettes by providing a claw member having a slit and a front restraining member which is interlocked with the vertical movement of the middle plate of a cassette, and making said front restraining member restrain the jump out of sheets when drawing off said cassette. CONSTITUTION:A claw member 11 which is interlocked with the vertical movement of a middle plate 7 is provided on the feed port side of a sheet feeding cassette 5. A slit 11c is provided on the corner part of the claw member 11 and, normally, sheets S are fed one at a time through the slit 11c. When the cassette 5 is drawn off of a copying machine body 13, the middle plate 7 pushes down the interlocking part 11d of the claw member 11. And, the claw member 11 is rotated clockwise around a pin 12 and a front restraining member 11b is lifted up to restrain the jump out of sheets S. Thereby, the sheets S are prevented from remaining in the body 13, facilitating the exchange of cassettes due to the change of sizes.</p> |
