PURPOSE:To increase life of a tool and to obtain a construction resistant to impactive load, by forming a chrome layer having a prescribed film thickness on the surface of a processing part of super hard alloy. CONSTITUTION:A super hard alloy 2, formed into a prescribed shape, is sand blasted to remove impurities and to form fine rugged surface on its surface. Next, sand and oil on the surface are removed by washing the surface with polishing sand. Further, the surface of the super hard alloy is corroded to form a satinized state on it by dipping it into an acid consisting essentially of sulfuric acid having comparatively strong corrosive force. Next, after rinsing, an industrial chrome electroplating is performed in a Sargent bath by applying electric current to form an approximately uniform chrome layer 3 on the satinized surface of the alloy 2. Then, a manufacturing of a tool, being performed the chrome electroplating 3 on the surface of the alloy 2, is completed after through steps of rinsing and buffing, etc.. |
