The stabilising leg for a mechanical shovel comprises two superimposed rods (9,10) which form a collapsible parallelogram. One end of the parallelogram is secured to an upright (11) which is pivotally attached to the chassis (3) allowing the leg to swing into the desired position. The other end of the parallelogram is attached to a foot (13) the lower end (14) of which bears onto the ground. The leg is pref. actuated by a telescopic ram (15) extending between the upright and the lower rod (10) of the parallelogram. The lower end of the foot is pref. telescopically mounted inside the foot itself.
|
